Municipal Development Plan of Gualaco, Honduras

The study was conducted in Gualaco, Olancho, Honduras. It was based on the 2030 Agenda and the Gualaco Municipal Development Plan (PDM). A practical method was established to adopt the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the PDM. The strategic and thematic axes of each SDG and the content of the plan were integrated. The MMP was unified with the 2030 Agenda, resulting in a plan that proposes the integration of actions for sustainable development, respecting the original work. With a special focus on marginalized communities, gender equity and the municipality's natural resources.
