Mudlarks

People go missing from time to time, some are found and returned to their families, some are never found, some turn up dead. When amateur mudlarks discover body parts on the Thames' beaches, the Metropolitan Police start investigating. They determine that some of the body parts belong to missing people.

A newly formed team of detectives in the Metropolitan Police commence enquiries to discover where the body parts originate. Their investigations unearth scenes of horror that are beyond what any reasonable person could imagine existing in modern London.

A lonely old Church on the Thames quays at Rotherhithe in South London that supplies food and shelter for homeless itinerants attracts their attention.

Complicated love affairs between three of the young detectives interact with evil criminals who commit gruesome murders.

One homeless itinerant manages to escape the clutches of the criminals and provides retribution for herself and justice for the thousands of people who have been murdered and mutilated.
