MRI of the Head and Neck

Since the establishment of magnetic resonance imaging theclinical diagnostic of the head and neck has improvedsubstantially and, therefore, in many cases this techniqueis used in the first place of radiological diagnosis. Thefeasibility of non-invasive MR angiography and 3-dimensionalreconstruction has enlarged the indication field of MRI. This book presents the meaning of this imaging technique forthe diagnosis of diseases in head and neck. Excellentfigures show the technicaland diagnostical possibilities ofthis method, the advantages and limitations of which areexplained as well.
