Elissa St Claire has always lived in the shadow of her family of high-achievers while she bounces from career to career, preferring the great outdoors and competing in sports to sitting behind a desk--except when it comes to doing a little gray-hat hacking. Much to her loving family's chagrin, she has no interest in settling down, either, instead dating men who are 'good enough' for now-until she meets Nashville. After a difficult assignment, former SEAL Nashville Jones decides to take some time off from protection work at Watchdog Security to reevaluate his life. Stepping away also means he doesn't have to worry about seeing Elissa at every turn-a woman who sends his heart racing but has made it clear every time she looks away that she's not interested.
