MORE SCARS ON PLANET EARTH

If you happen to be traveling through Outer Space, you mightbe fortunate enough to pass in the direction of the planet Earth,a beautiful smooth, round object hurtling in an orbit around thesun, on a prescribed course, with its satellite moon orbitingaround it. Earth has made countless trillion revolutions aroundthe sun, which will be repeated for evermore. Man has dug holes in the earth s surface to rob it of its preciousmetals and minerals. He has caused deforestation and burntthe vegetation, exploded bombs, destroyed structures whichhe and others have built, killed the birds of the air and the shof the sea. He has helped to decrease the animal population ofthe earth for the purpose of eating it, or owning its horns, or itsskin and its teeth, He has poisoned the air and the lakes. Hehas slaughtered his brothers. The scars may be seen almosteverywhere. There are also wounds where they cannot be seen,as in the minds of man.
