Momma Said: A Poem of Tribute to My Wise Grandmother

Grandma lived a simple life as a wife and Mother. After losing her Mother, at age six, she was raised by her Mother's sister and her husband. Growing up in the South in the early 1900's wasn't easy but she came to believe God's word and though she had only a sixth grade, formal education, her education in God's wisdom always served her well. Through her loving expressions, God's word served her family well also. This book is a poetic compilation of some of her words, heard directly or through family members. Her Granddaughter wrote them down, took them to heart and placed them in this book for others to read, enjoy, ponder and heed.
