The paper discusses intechnical detail the means of isolatingand inserting a normal hemogloblingene into the erythoid stem cells ofpeople with Sickle Cell Anemia and BThalassemia. The difficulties andlimitation of Gene Therapy arediscussed in detail, as well as, someethical considerations.
