"Mirgorod" is a two-volume collection of novels of the brilliant Russian writer Nikolai Vasilyevich Gogol. He unites four fascinating novellas: "Old-world landowners", "Taras Bulba", "Wii" and "The Tale of Ivan Ivanovich''s Collapse with Ivan Nikiforovich", diverse in genre and content. One of the features of this collection, in contrast to "Evenings on a Farm near Dikanka", is the absence of a single narrator.
