Weather doesn't just happen: it's made.

Every hundred years the climatic cycle must be re-balanced by activating the five Elemental Scrolls but Jess, the only witch who can, is missing.

Her father, Milt, and Wallace - a reluctant witch and police detective -are manipulated by the coven's Sisterhood into finding Jessica before the world flips into permanent drought.

The only clue to finding her is a genetically sentient ring.

Determined to stop them is Dragos, a demon. He wants to activate the fifth scroll (Akashic) that bars the Demon's Gate. If he succeeds the parallel worlds of demons and men will be cataclysmically joined for the next century.

Jess must discover her courage, power and determination by time travelling to the future and back, before crossing the River Styx to return with the key that holds the fate of the world.
