This publication is the result of teaching internship experience and includes contributions from students supervised by the organisers during the School Cartography course taught by Professor Gic lia Mendes, PhD, from the Geography Department at the Federal University of Sergipe, S o Crist v o Campus, Sergipe. The objective of this publication is to share methodologies developed by students through the articles produced, with a view to contributing to the school education of basic education students in the approach to cartography in geography teaching, as well as assisting teachers of the subject in the teaching-learning process.
