Memoirs of Galina

Memoirs of Galina follows the true story of Galina Kuchina and her family. Originally from Russia, the family leave their home for China in search of a better life. The family endure a difficult time under Japanese occupation in China and live under Soviet rule following liberation by the Soviet Army. However, even during the most difficult times the young still studied, worked, fell in love and got married. Years later the family migrated to Australia and integrated into Australian life. Working life was punctuated by a full social life as well as an intense cultural commitment. Galina's interest in the theatre, literature and art led her to meet many leaders in their respective artistic fields. Family and spiritual life is fully explored in the book.
