In 1999, Lita Gonzalez started a fifteen-year journey to meet her ancestors-going beyond dates of birth and dates of death she discovered lives built of strength and resilience, love and passion, joy and sorrow. She uncovered her ancestors' stories, and in the process, reconnected with her heritage.
