Scales and Tails

The first thing we think of when we think of peacocks is their dazzling tail. Students will learn that these beautiful feathers are not really the tail of the peacock, though. Plus, they will find out everything they ever wanted to know about these exotic birds—from their habitat to what they eat to how many eggs they lay.
