Medication in the elderly

With aging, morbidity increases, the elderly are the target of polypharmacy and inappropriate prescription, and as a consequence, poor adherence to therapeutic regimens and deterioration in quality of life. In order to contribute to the preparation of Residents and Specialists in General Comprehensive Medicine on Medication in the Elderly, a descriptive observational study was carried out. It was developed in 2 stages: diagnosis of learning needs on Medication in the Elderly and design of a program for improvement.
