Dennis Mooney is just an ordinary man with a lovely family and a unique sense of humour. He always enjoyed good health, but he lost several members of his family in a very short space of time, 6 of whom died of cancer. Between the years of 1995 and 2006, Dennis himself was to suffer from bowel cancer, liver cancer, chronic myeloid leukemia and a heart attack followed by left ventricle heart failure. During these illnesses, he has also suffered severe suicidal depression and is now suffering from arthritis. This autobiographical book is a humorous, frank and honest account of how Dennis dealt with everything that was thrown at him by always seeing the funny side. This alone makes for an enjoyable read that buzzes with positive energy. The added dimension to this book is the enormous amount of advice and information that will prove extremely helpful to anyone whose lives have been touched by cancer or any other serious illness.
