Mayola Boone

Mayola Boone is the proprietress of a popular eating establishment. She is also the madam of one of the most elite bordellos in Charleston, South Carolina. Much loved by her customers, the funny, carefree madam loves to sing and dance barefoot on table tops, but there is much more to the beautiful redhead than meets the eye. Mayola Boone is one of the most prolific station masters of the underground railroad; her bawdy house Sunshine instrumental in the safe passage of hundreds of runaways.

The illegitimate daughter of plantation master Raymond Fuller, who tried to murder her as an infant, Ray is hell-bent on exposing Mayola as an accomplice in assisting runaways. Mayola must confront her father in a final showdown, risking her life and the lives of a frightened band of runaways to uphold her conviction as a dedicated freedom fighter.
