Maths Laboratory at School

This book contains essays and reports born from the reflections of members of a study group, founded and based in a state school in Rio de Janeiro, which includes basic education teachers whose voices have been denied and drowned out when talking to the general public about education. The essays and reports presented here are based on peripheral basic education schools and seek to show that the articulation between theory and practice is possible even in the most adverse realities.
