Marijuana: Health Issues, Hazards and Usage

An estimated 43.5 million Americans used marijuana in the last year. Despite growing acceptance and accessibility of this drug and its derivatives, we lack definitive evidence on the short- and long-term health implications of marijuana use. Marijuana use among youth and young adults is a major public health concern. As policy and legalization efforts evolve and the availability of legal marijuana increases, communities and families need guidance surrounding marijuana use.
