Mamluk Days

This book lists a critical period in the history of Egypt and the Arabs, diving into the special details of the Mamluk State, from its inception and how the Mamluks came to rule and took control of the State, after a time of homelessness, slavery, battle experience and wars, and what they did in this large State, their good and bad, and the massacres that began between them in the struggle for governance. The book tells of rare events at the stage of decay and the end of the Mamluk State with its customary concept until their last massacre at the castle by Muhammad Ali Pasha, after which a new phase in the formation of the contemporary Egyptian State will begin.
