On the isolated island of Laika in the Western Kingdom, a boy named Veron is cast out from general school due to his behavior.

He likes games, fantasy and things that most people don't think about. He's tormented by his classmate, Daniel Frash, and has been since as long as he can remember. But on a field trip day to a pile of rocks known as the Temple of Delrax, a great generational secret is about to be revealed.
