Madame Blavatsky and Her "Theosophy"

Lilile's Madame Blavatsky and "Theosophy" is a biography of one of the most famous women of the 19th century: Helena Petrovna (H.P.) Blavatsky. Blavatsky is best known for founding Theosophy, which in her own words was "the archaic Wisdom-Religion, the esoteric doctrine once known in every ancient country having claims to civilization". Blavatsky started the religion after traveling around the world and seeing the religious beliefs and practices of various peoples across the globe.
This book also looks at the religious underpinnings of theosophy itself, explaining its origins and worldview.
