Mabel Moves Abroad

A story about moving abroad and leaving everything that is familiar behind, designed to inspire and encourage children to adapt and thrive in their new surroundings. Meet Mabel, she is eight years old. She loves going to school, she has friends there and it is only a short walk from her house. Her mother acquires a new job abroad in engineering but she doesn't want to go. She is worried that she won't make new friends there. She will miss Fish and Chips, her friends, especially Meggie, who she has known all of her life and on top of all this, her karate lessons. As well as this, she doesn't speak the new language. With teddy bear in tow, Mabel jets off to Germany. Join her on her thrilling adventures She debunks some stereotypes along the way.
