Author Sasha Shakita Samsons journey wasnt paved with silver or gold or love and self-respect. Instead, it was filled with sex, drugs, violence, and murder. Although her mother tried to better herself and her family by moving from the west side of Chicago to the south side to give her kids a better life, drugs were her downfall.
