Lizard People

Four thousand years ago it was common for lizard people to be integrated in society. This, apparently was caused by a great war. For some reason people ignore the evidence of both the war and the mutation and there is a huge amount. Almond eye, rough skinned, usually protruding headed people had families and positions in communities. These people died out but their legacy remains.
