Living Marine Resources

This textbook considers the ocean environment and types of renewable marine resources. Four sections discuss topics that include distribution and productivity of world ocean regions, sea farming versus capture fishing, fishery management, and yield models that estimate maximum sustainable yield and maximum economic yield. This book should be of interest to stud ents taking introductory fisheries courses; students in biology, engineering, economics, law, and other fields.
