Lively Lady

''The Lively Lady'' by Kenneth Roberts was first published in 1931 by Doubleday, entering public domain. Set during the War of 1812, the story follows Richard Nason, a sea captain from Arundel, Maine, who becomes a privateer after being pressed into service by the British. The narrative captures the high-stakes world of maritime combat and the courage of American privateersmen.
