During World War II, he flew the first B-29 bombing missions against China, and was assigned to plan and supervise the bombing of Hiroshima. After the war, he was assigned the command of Roswell Army Airfield in New Mexico. It was during his watch that the Roswell UFO Incident occurred. His daughter was paralyzed by his actions in the army and sought the help of a Navajo Indian psychotherapist who prescribed a session using Peyote to help her get in touch with her inner feelings. On her journey, she traveled to a strange, new world on board a spaceship hidden in orbit behind the dark side of the moon. Her host showed her both the ravages of war and the beauty of mankind's creative endeavors.
