Life Through a Device depicts how technology has engulfed our minds we used to own. Social Media has taken the world by storm and people especially from my generation are falling victim. We seem more connected, but in reality we are creating more distance. I am 23 years old upon publishing this book so I grew up with this feverishly growing technology. With such a fast paced world, I feel as though we forget the simple things in life such as the simple act of synchronicity. I wrote this book to expose all of the deceptions that come with social media and what it can bring out in a person, or should I say hold in? The psychology of interpersonal relationships has dramatically changed over the past decade. Are we moving forward as a society or are we all drowning in a sea of self?
