Three short stories. Each tells of a life on a detour. "What Time Is It?" is a story of a girl for whom punctuality, and a promise, are very important. "Dinner With Andrea" is a shared meal with two close friends. "Ghostwriter" tells of a lonely writer who takes a beach house so she may write in peace.
