Romy was the perfect wife - until the day she received a letter claiming her husband was keeping a nasty secret. She wanted desperately to believe Michael was innocent, but the letter broke their marriage apart. Three years later, Romy tentatively allows a friendship with her handsome neighbour to grow into something more. But her newfound happiness is suddenly shadowed by the news Michael has suffered a serious stroke.
