Level of Awareness to Alcoholism Among the College Students

College students are influenced by Western culture, by peer pressure, by the aggressive marketing on television, where liquor advertisements show gorgeous young women and men living life king-size, the major companies sponsor major events where complimentary drinks are served and students take to drinking. One of the major problems among college students towards alcoholism is their belief that drinking habit is a fashion today. Alcoholism creates many problems in society such as frequent road accidents, criminal activities such as vandalism, property damage, drunken driving, kidnapping and homicide, sexual activities and suicide rates are higher among alcohol users than others.
