Dengue is a viral disease transmitted by the Aedes aegypti mosquito, which represents one of the main threats to public health in tropical and subtropical regions of the world. Its high incidence, especially in Latin American countries, has generated the need to strengthen prevention strategies from the first level of care. In this context, nursing plays a fundamental role, not only in the diagnosis and treatment of cases, but also in health promotion and health education aimed at the population.
