Let's Decide Together

Let's Decide Together is an accessible workbook for anyone interested in practicing sociocracy with children ages 5-12. Adults can use it to make more

values-aligned, egalitarian, and inclusive decisions together with children in the home, at school, clubs, neighborhood groups, or in any group where adults and children are empowered to decide together.

Have you ever asked with children: Who will do the chores? Where will we go on a field trip? What will we have for dinner? Often when working with children, adults will make these decisions for them, leading to an authoritarian dynamic and conflict.

But how can we build trust, empower and teach children to collaborate and decide for themselves? Sociocracy can provide a useful framework for deciding with children, leading to healthy relationships, enhanced collaboration skills, and children's empowerment.
