Let Justice Flow

Born Black and illegitimate to a teenage mother, and having suffered under the ill effects of segregation, Muriel Wade-Smith decided to rise above the evil oppression of racism and colonialism to attain a Ph.D.; the highest qualification in her chosen field of education. Through prayer, determination, and perseverance, Dr. Wade-Smith finally realizes her lifelong dream.

In this 2023 reprint from its 1999 debut, Dr. Muriel Wade-Smith urges young people in Bermuda and abroad to read Let Justice Flow, as it serves as a reminder of how far Black people have come due to the sacrifices and injustices faced by our elders and ancestors, and yet, just how much work is still ahead of us in our fight against systems upholding discriminatory practices.
