Leskov, Le Conteur: Reflexions Sur Nikolai Leskov, Walter Benjamin Et Boris Eichenbaum

Nikolai Leskov (1831-1895) was a master of the skaz, a literary form at the intersection of written text and the oral tradition. By mixing the approaches of W. Benjamin (the ethics of the skaz) and B. Eichenbaum (the poetics of the skaz), this work offers a critical reading of Russian narrative culture and oralized writing.
