The Legendary Campfire was inspired by the stories of two historical African American figures during the Revolutionary War. These men''s individual contributions aided the American colonists to defeat the British. One was a former slave, and the other a free man, but the actions of both of these men helped turn the tides of the Revolutionary War. Without brave men like them, America might not have become the nation it is today
