Le Philologue Et Son Double: Etudes de Reception Medievale

This work brings together articles written by the author over the last twenty years linking the modern reception of medieval literature to the history of medieval studies. It shows that the problem of the "return of the Middle Ages" affects the understanding we have of our own modernity.
