Late Anglo-Saxon and Norman coins reached the eastern Baltic in considerable numbers during the Viking Age, and thereafter British coins occasionally found their way there. This catalogue describes and fully illustrates some 270 coins from Latvian collections and gives an account of the archaeological background.
