L.A Wilding's Latin Course for Schools, published in three parts, is well established as an excellent introduction to the language, providing details of grammar and syntax in an ordered and easily assimilable sequence. Continuous translation from original sources is used throughout the course from the earliest stages, both in order to give pupils a sense of achievment and to instil in them a genuine interest in Latin.
