Languages and Cultures of the Caucasus

This anthology presents current findings from Caucasus Studies. The focus is on contributions from the fields of linguistics, history and socio-cultural anthropology. All authors share a close relationship with the outstanding Caucasus researcher Kevin Tuite, whose lifework is honoured with this publication. In addition to established scholars who have shaped Caucasus Studies over the past decades, younger generations of researchers and specialists from the region also have their say. As a result, this book presents the latest findings on the languages, cultures and history of the Caucasus region. This interdisciplinary perspective makes the Caucasus comprehensible in all its complexity and uniqueness.
