Lair of the White Worm

"The Lair of the White Worm" is a Gothic horror novel written by Bram Stoker, first published in 1911. Set in rural England, the story follows Adam Salton, a young man who inherits his uncle's estate, Lesser Hill, in the village of Mercy Farm. As Adam settles into his new home, he becomes entangled in a series of mysterious events surrounding the legendary creature known as the White Worm, which is said to inhabit the nearby marshes.
