Labyrinth of Silence (originally titled Im Labyrinth des Schweigens, and released in some regions as Labyrinth of Lies) is a gripping 2014 German historical drama directed by Giulio Ricciarelli.Set in Frankfurt during the late 1950s, the film uncovers a shocking reality of post-war Germany: a collective amnesia regarding the atrocities of the Holocaust, and a society where former Nazi perpetrators have seamlessly integrated back into normal, everyday civilian life as teachers, bakers, and government officials.
