La (Re)Construction Francaise de l'Analyse Infinitesimale de Leibniz: 1690-1706

This book investigates the French construction of the Leibnizian calculus. Contrary to a certain historiography, it shows that Leibniz's methods are integrated in coherence with epistemological conceptions, and that their institutionalization is the fruit of political consensus.
