Konocti Caves

Fast-moving action-packed adventure of young Jimmy Maldoon who has been passed from institution to institution and one foster home after another from birth, until landing in the home and heart of elderly Mama Capra. Things really start looking up after a deputy sheriff befriends him. Then his life is turned upside down by his foster mother's health and the deputy's fear of commitment. Jimmy finds himself in yet another foster home ran by a wealthy mysterious newcomer to the community, and in serious danger with no one he can trust to turn to.
