Knowledge for Justice

Winner of the 2021 Association for Ethnic Studies Outstanding Book AwardBronze Medal recipient, Anthologies, 2020 Independent Publisher Book AwardsKnowledge for Justice is a joint publication of UCLAs four ethnic studies research centers: American Indian Studies, Asian American Studies, Chicana/o Studies, and African American Studies. The book addresses the intersectional intellectual, social, and political struggles that confront the groups represented in the anthology. The selections articulate the specificity of each racial ethnic groups struggle while simultaneously interrogating the ways in which such labels or categories are inadequate.
