Mr. and Mrs. Kittyfield and their four kittensTattywat, Olive, Bunson, and Sylviedecide to go fishing on a beautiful spring day. While the family is enjoying their excursion at the river, their mischievous neighbors, Rattatapp and Rattitatt Raccoon, play a practical joke on the Kittyfields.Rattatapp and Rattitatt take all of the food out of the familys home. That night, the raccoons had fun sharing the food with all of their friends. But the Kittyfield six-some was very sad. They did not catch any fish to eat that day, and when they arrived home, their food was all gone.
