Troy Wells' life goes a bit haywire when Ryan Jones - a kid he's counseling - shows up one day sporting an aura full of untapped magic and no idea how to control it. When fairies attach Ryan's parents, killing his father in their search for Ryan, he runs to the only person he knows he can trust.
