It was republished in Quarto, with Shakespeare's name, in I 598. A third Quarto was issued in 1608, with new Earl), additions of the Parliament Secane, and the deposing 9mm of King Richard, as it hath been lately acted by the New addi Ringes Majesties servantes, at the Globe. This third flow Quarto was reprinted in 1615, and a copy of the reprint, corrected, it is thought, from a stage-copy of the play, was made the basis of the text in the Ist Folio, 1623. AS regards the comparative merits of these early editions, the opinion of the best judges is that the Ist Folio affords the most reliable text of the new additions, and the Ist Quarto of all the rest of the play.
