Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. The sizes of type employed nearly correspond to the size of the letters in the manuscript, which are in form nearer the ordinary Roman letters than the manuscript writing of that age. The variations in spelling the same words have been retained, and the same division of words, not by syllables, as at present, but variously by letters, has been rigidly adhered to in every respect. Instead of retaining the few abbre viations, it was deemed better to print the omitted letter or letters, where any abbreviations occur.
