Days before the World Cup soccer championship between Italy and Argentina, the wives and children of Italy's two top scorers are abducted from a caf in Cartagena.

Italy cannot possibly win the Cup with its top players so distracted by overwhelming fear for their families' safety. In order to win, the players must score. To score, they need to focus. To focus, their families must be rescued.
